Medical Care For Non-residents

I hear Dubai is getting Universal health care, who does it apply to and how would non-residents receive medical care and what are the costs like?

The new ruling is that all arrivals in Dubai on a visit visa must purchase a medical insurance policy. It costs 1000dhs. and covers you for any treatment when you are here. Not sure but it should be available to sign up at the airport.

And I'm guessing it will be top notch care and with minimal waiting.
The UAE really has done a lot of things the right IMHO from what I keep reading.

Well I recently had to attend the American Hospital for a medical for my company medical policy and had to wait 1.5 hours to be seen! It took precisely 8 minutes for the medical when I got in there!

The new cardinal is that all arrivals in Dubai on a appointment acceptance have to acquirement a medical allowance policy. It costs 1000dhs. and covers you for any analysis if you are here. Not abiding but it should be accessible to assurance up at the airport.
