What's Happening This Weekend People ? Jun 18, 2009
The weekend's finally upon us!

I'll be watching football tonight, might go sailing or kayaking tomorrow. Maybe do a little shopping after that. Those red banners are so enticing.
So what's the rest of the crowd doing?

Nope first time. Going with two of my girlie friends. This is a serious sporting and relaxing holiday, if there is such a thing.

Ahhh well have fun!
I own a few businesses over in Bangkok so i'm usually over there every month.
If you head to Khao San Road in Bangkok (local hippie hangout and shopping road), there's a REALLY good traditional Thai Spa around the corner from the burger king in an old Wooden House, 50 AED for 3 hours.
Lemme know if you want any other info :)

There's a nice beach in Rayong (after Ban Phe town) called Hat Rim Phae. Calm and not over crowded like Pattaya. We stayed in one of the resort, next to Novotel. There's facility as well to go to small islands off the coast for snorkeling and trekking. And lastly, Rayong province is Thailand's major fruit & vegetable main source. And their Durian is the best! ;)

Pattaya's DEAD right now, as is much of Thailand with the H1N1 breakout.

Whenever I wanted Durian (that is like almost everyday!) I just went to nearest Tesco/Carrefour/BigC :D

Too lazy to open by myself, I just bought ready-packed :D
The only food I bought from street vendors were Kao Men Gai, Tom Yam Goong, and deep fried grasshopers :D
