Hi,

Sadly, I am color blinded. I failed to get the numbers correct on the Ishihara test, but I am 6/6. Just because of this its not possible for me to get my eye test certificate so is my driving license.

The funny thing is I can clearly distinguish between Red/Green/Yellow. I can read all sign boards, I have no idea what to do, i work in service industry and I am worried that this particular thing would ruin my career.

I want to know whether RTA is strict on NOT giving driving license to colour blinded people?

Really not sure. Never heard of someone not being given a licence because of colour blindness.

Have you tried explaining your condition to them? If you have and there is no response; have you tried going to someone to complain (someone in management?) . There must be a way around this.
