Buying A Car From Abu Dhabi

I am buying a car with a Abu Dhabi number plate. Is it a hassle to transfer it to dubai and is anyone aware of the procedure?

you have to deregister in AD get an export plate .. and re register in dubai ... of course more money .. I think the export plate is valid for three days only,,, make sure you have all the docs .. passport, insurance the works

i dont think so, its 6-8 hrs process all together (MAX)
get export papers/plates from AD
drive to DXB
get it registered + insure it
For your safety, ask previous owner not to cancel insurance polity for 24hrs..
