tell me about. UAE market is shit, not only you are paying premium but you pay it for middle quality goods. we don't have an effective control of what comes here or the MADE IN ..... print. you can never be sure if you paid for the original made or a copy.

I ones visited Ajman cloths factories... my god, the make all kind of fashion clothing and print brand name what ever pops into their heads on the products.

many of Ajman products are sold as imported products.

another example of those products and its prices are the Perfumes !!

if you look carefully in the bottom of each bottle ,it specify the quality of the perfume and it's kind as following :

1-Perfume : the concentrated one, last 24\h.

2-Eau de perfume :less concentrated. lasts 8\h

3-Eau de toilette : light smell. lasts 4\h

4- Eau de cologne : v.light smell mostly for kids. last for 2\h

the problem is that here we are paying for # 2 or 3 the same price as for #1 ,without knowing we are being hassled.

yup, and there are products out here that are being imitated and you pay the same price or higher... just the other day i went to karama and there some guys offering rolex hehehe

just buy from the original counters/shops. better yet to wait for sale

be warned though. the other day there was a sale on one of the reputable watch chain shops in the mall (not karama!). for seiko sportura selling for 1000 dhs only (original price is more than 2500 dhs). after comparing carefully both (with the original one displayed), the design was slightly different.

I've seen some Lovis Vutton and Hugo Bass, must be a side line.

Don't know about Abu Dhabi but Dubai on the whole is rubbish for shopping both price and choice. So much so, that myself and the missus just order stuff online and have big spurges when back in London.

Obviously DSF, DSS and the perpetual 'sale' on many stores are just schemes to lure in tourists, to build that 'shopping mecca' image.

I don,t like shopping but thanks for the site.

why not try the Brand Connect Outlet's!.. their is no resk for paying Fake stuff!!.....
