Meeting People????

Meeting people???? Apr 23, 2009
Hi

Sorry if this has been asked before, how easy is it to meet new people in Dubai? I'm a single woman coming over to work at Regent International School and just a bit anxious about moving so far and not being able to make new friends :oops:

Any advice welcomed

It will be easy to make friends :). What they want might not be what you're looking for though...

You'll probably make friends quickly with fellow teachers and your network expand from there. Look for a sports or hobby club to join also.

I think bonk is politely trying to say you will meet a lot of of people who want to be "friends with benefits" (since you are single).

I dont think you'll have a problem anyway. Just hang with some people from work and you'll meet people through them...

Yes. By highlighting that you are single and female changes how you are viewed by some ... from a person ... to fresh innocent meat.

well it's true!!.. it's not only in dubai it's hard to find reall one in evrywhere!........

Girl join the ladies kickboxing in safa park every thursday, i have seen ladies there doing it, that is just for fun. A filipino kickboxer is teaching those ladies and I will join next thurday. Filipinos are good people so go there and approach them. See you there and let's have fun in kickboxing.
