Yes you are mistaken Rob. Giving credit where credit is due. Brighton Beach, in the area that the immigrants moved into, was a low income housing project area. They lived amongst high crime and poverty. The neighborhood was turned around, buildings were renovated, homes were built, small business established and a community was created.

There is a boardwalk that is lined with restaurants, cafes, and clubs.

Granted, the Mafia has a hold on most of it, but some of the areas are quite upscale.

I look Russian. I get that more than Filipina but at least I LOOK Russian so it makes sense.

Everytime I walk into the Russian businesses they speak to me in Russian. I never get that in the Filipino run businesses. You see Filipinos are smart. They know I don't look Filipino and Russians are smart because they know I look Russian but Arab men are dumb because they sometimes think I look Filipina. I guess 20/20 vision is more prevalent in the Philippines and Russia. Arab men must not wear their contacts or glasses or too scared for lasik.

I love love beets, herring with beets, cabbage and beets, borscht, blinis, stuffed cabbage, salmon, and sprats. OMG Russian food heaven.

I'm hungry Robby. I don't want people coming with trays of lumpia, adobo and rice. I want beets, cabbage, herring, and pierogies. Anyway I look Russian not Filipina so I match my taste buds. No vodka though. Yuck. My Irish side takes over in the drinking department.

1. You look Russian, You don't look Filipino, you don't like Vodka -'Yuck'- You feel Irish when drinking...whatever that means... plus you're hungry. Right

2. My question was, what triggered all this.... only analyzed answer would be "I'm hungry"....

3. Conclusion:... You have Bird flu and are delirious...among some other undisclosed issues.
