I heard PUSHMAIL work only with Etisalat email account.

Correct me if im wrong:

Difference between Pushmail and Datapackage for checking mail:

DataPackage charges you per bandwidth.
Pushmail is unlimited bandwidth.

In English:
using DataPackage, the more you check your mail..the more you have to pay.

Pushmail: you can check your mail as many times as you like for a fixed fee.

Ok..GOT IT.

Called 101

PUSHMAIL is exactly the same as DataPackage, FIXED monthly fee of 45 AED. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut lol...you can ONLY USE ONE email :)

So if you have only one email...pushmail is good...you can check your mail 1000 times....fixed fee of 45 AED.

hmmm....they say one email...has anyone tried adding MORE emails and seeing what happens?

all i want is to check is:

using the pushmail settings that you recieve on your handset, are you able to browse the web, using the pushmail accesspoint?

i want to confirm if pushmail is locked down to send/recieve emails or if we could hack through to use the web for the same flat fee & the pushmail AP

PushMail & DataPackage are Mobile Phone settings that allow your phone to connect to Readio Frequency to exhcange DATA (Internet)

They both use the same channels (Radio frequency, 3G)

Except that the pricing for each are differnet.

No, these services do not apply to BlackBerry services. BlackBerry services also use radio frequency but with their own blackberry settings and pricing packages.

Dump ur black berry and get a Nokia :D

you cant recieve or attach anything above 500 kb, as i have seen on someone's phone. Be carefull when you use pushmail. You get charged for data usage outside the pushmail plans and can get into a big pile of sh!t

45dhs is flat fee for unlimited usage for pushmail. What I meant was that you could get charged if you happened to use data package settings while working with the pushmail client
