Because I can't find the original post.

My friend went to court this morning. The 10 days he already spent in jail were considered enough, but he was given a 20,000 Dhs fine and lost his licence.

Big time reason not to go near a car, until your positive there is no alcohol in your system.

o my god this is so sad about ur friend.

its preferable not drive while drinking. i never did and not gonna do that.

people please dont drive when drinking.

Do you have any insight from him as to what the jails are like?

Did he lose the license for good or for a few years? How about deportation?

No deportation.

He never got moved to the central jail but was held at Port Rashid in the police cells, not much info, but basically said there were things he really didn't want to talk about - you seriously don't want to spend any time in there.

With regards to the licence, either 3 or 6 months ban by the sound of things.

It does give plenty of time to get off some of this excess weight I got.

In Russia its not even punished anymore. The bottles of Vodka keep the crowds happy, or should I say communizzzzddd, communicccaattzzz, commm.... 'quiet' was the word I was looking for...

I know of a guy who got away last week. The cops caught up with him as he was going around looking for parking at Bur Dubai.... was past 3 in the morning. He was sloshed. They let him go after a dose of fatherly advice. Lucky bastard

I don't think so. I just started for the first day in lowering myself to your standards. Since I didn't get any sense from you and Speedhump while ranting eachother. I practice a bit to get warm with you're style of egocentric banter.

Maybe you can be glad it might last for a mere week before I get sick of it. I tend to have a long breath in relation to others.

Perhaps I come to my sense somewhat sooner. You'll notice. No doubt.
