Hi there,
I would like to know if there are any backpacker type cheap guest houses or hotels out there in dubai?usually what are the prices/night?and could u guys name them and their wherabouts.Thanks !

There are loads of 2/3/4 star hotels around Deira. Mostly on/around the following streets; Rigga St., and Omar Ibn El Khattab St. Some of the 3star hotels on Rigga st, like Lotus Hotel and Comfort Inn(which is behind rigga) charge 550Dhs($150) p/night for double, and 350Dhs(&97)p/single, which i personally find reasonable for Dubai. There are also some 2 star hotels around deira, which might charge less.

Thanks Maad.Is a couple(bf gf) allowed to stay there?I saw the rates for a single room are very reasonable (130 AED).Is this rate is per night?

Ooppsss... For some reason when I read the word backpacker.... I misread it as fudgepacker and wondered by HP didn't respond...
