canuckbid wrote:As a professional driver for many years I would advise travelling in which ever lane you can escape the highway from. The danger comes from the rear when their is a sudden stop or slow down in the fog. Semi's running over little cars. Watch your rear view mirror and don't be scared to head for the bush if you see a problem coming. They make new cars everyday. Headlights and extra room of course. I think hazard lights are for if you are stopped and pulled over. Not while travelling. Low beam works better than highbeam in the really thick stuff.
