It was announced that «the Center is currently working with a specialized international institutions to find a specific reference, with a professional and clear indicators for the definition of the expert and adviser, and with professional designations such as these, who are willing to work within the State».

Tijani said that «the Center studied the the U.S., English, Japanese, Australian models, which is based on the so-called (Albert Review), any group of experts in the professional bodies should apply to obtain higher professional status, after it became clear that many of the institutions to be experts The advisers do not allow them to scientific and personal qualifications to carry such ». He pointed out that government institutions are more use of advisers and experts, which was interpreted by the tendency of the elements in the development of Western systems of work, and the stereotypical images of preconceptions about the ability of foreign advanced technologies », adding that« many Westerners who came to the work of experts within the State, failed to prove their ability to perform their duties » .

It was not possible to obtain accurate statistics on the number of people who have the status of an expert, or adviser in the State institutions, or in the private sector.

He added that «many of them come to work here after they failed in their countries», pointing out that «the global financial crisis worsened in the West because of wrong decisions and miscalculation on the part of those experts, or corruption in the senior management, not because of the application of standards of excellence and quality, as claimed by some ».

The Director of the Department of Human Resources in a major insurance company preferred to remain anonymous said that «the company invested in two years, about six Western experts, including an expert in risk management-old not to exceed 28 years, the company has to manage a suite at a hotel in Abu Dhabi, with a private car with the driver, the daily rent of up to 700 dirhams, while the salary is equivalent to half the salaries of the staff of the Section in which they operated », adding that« the company terminated her prior to the completion of the term of the contract; she did not provide anything new that can be distinguished from other staff of the Section ».

Tijani pointed out that «the concept of the expert or adviser to many is still shrouded in confusion in the labor market; the fact that many of those who called this description do not have the infrastructure and Valmschar must be consulted to give what he has done, and not in what he read or heard».

He said that «the definition of expert is currently not clear, because there are no specific references about the nature of professional work, especially in areas such as quality and excellence». He added that «some institutions used by experts in quality and excellence were the (resident) private, but the status of Abu Dhabi World distinguish trained for five days to assist in the assessment process of the institutions involved in the Sheikh Khalifa Award». He stressed that «this is a negative gap; the fact that the training received by the (resident) does not qualify to work experts, and this has been the establishment of a vocational rehabilitation center a few days ago to fill this gap, and will be the length of the process of training and rehabilitation for nine months instead of five days, and after passing a phase of training and rehabilitation Graduates will be eligible to work (resident) and an adviser to the institutions at the same time.

Hello. Yes I've experience meeting people with so called qualifications really lacking in any common sense sometimes. I've wondered to myself how some people can hold the position they do? Prime example last month a certified tech came over to set up the neighbors sat dish for internet. He gave up after not being able to find the "bird" satellite. I went over and found it and then activated the site. I'm not trying to brag as it's not a hard feat. I took a little traing in Pheonix years ago but I'm no certified tech. I learned what little I know the hard way. It scares me to think that there is students using their blackberry's to cheat on final exams in university. Some will get qualifications and not really know their degree.

I have lots of encounter with these so called tech people whose CV's have lots of Microsoft Certification but doesn't know jack-sh.it even with ip addressing, i was wondering how they get away with it and still didn't get the boot.

And most of these were indians! I really thought they're good at it or was it just really hype?

Have to agree with you there. It's amazing how they all have 5 or 6 resumes each which range from accountant, IT Executive to scientist.

Guess when you have 1 billion ... 300 million would be good, 700 million trying to follow those good souls. Good ones too busy in earning dollars or pounds, rest earning dirhams or riyals.

Having said that, there are fair share of good ones here as well, but I still seem to elude them.

Here I cum with my modest Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Aerospace Technology...

But I heard the Ministry of Education is going to lawfully upgrade my degree to International standard equal to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) which should classify higher than the B. Eng degree I carry now.
The reason of that, lies in the quality of the curriculum we have in Holland, in relation to other countries in the world.

Finally! Accreditation 8)
