normally what i do is i take a few pics. so if i were u i would have taken some pics and take them to the top guy who sits in the station. you can complain there and you can get your fine taken off. its a bit of a hassle running around and talking to the top guy but it helps not paying 500dhs :D

oh try to be a muslim in the station. they luv it if u enter and say salam-a-laikum :D say it loudly actually it usually helps :D dont have a funny accent (they HATE that. especially if you are a brownie trying to act like a funny gora (whiteman)). use a bit of hindi. like thora thora (a little). if you cant do it let me know i ll come with u but i charge for my services :D

like the kid said no point sharing it on the net. you wont get anything.

next time get a few cameras fitted in UAE you never know how useful those pics can be sometimes ;)

No, I'm done here with the guy.

He should lighten up a bit with his critic behaviour. Would suit him well.

The good part of you sharing it on the net here is that at least more peoeple will be aware of whats going on. These "undercover" guys abuse their power quite a lot. Whether its cases like yours, thefts, or women raped by these guys, horror stories are aplenty. Their id cards are a ticket to their "entertainment".

I went through what you're talking about so I know how you feel. I feel sorry for the men and women they really expolit. They can be seen roaming in many residential areas roaming everyday, in the same area for many days. I have photos and number plates of many of these guys.

cool u should have noted down their id and should have taken their pics. thats why i am saying get some cameras in your cars boys & girlsl.

i would suggest you go down to the police station and complain. they called u up and they will forget about it tommorow. trust me its better if you go down there personally. its abit of a hassle but if u want your 200dhs back u have to do it.

Really? Wanna bet on that? Depends how you tackle it. I know people who'vce won several arguments with locals. If they're in the wrong, they're in the wrong, so just suck it up!
.

well that was my opinion as a south east asian. :x
