Leaflet Distribution - Regulation? Mar 24, 2009
Anybody who knows if there is some kind of regulations in leaflet distribution in open spaces...i.e. The Walk?

Does it need special license?

Thanks for the help.

I know in Marina Walk you need permission from Emaar i guess it would be the same for The Walk which would be Dubai Properties or Salwan the Estate Manager.

This reminds me of one of Mitch Hedberg's lines about people who distribute flyers. "Here, you throw it away".

Distribution in JBR is exclusively awarded to Tawseel L.L.C.

To add to that, Tawseel does all kinds of distribution & logistics.

@gamercowboy

That's right. However, it is the same concept and logic as in any business.

In Approximation:
Only +/- 20% of the staff brings 80% of the profit.
Only +/- 20% of the inquiries turns to a sale.
Only +/- 20% of leaflet distributed gathers visitors and potential clients.

Yes, I agree with your concept. It's true, those who do not need your services will throw the flyer...but you will always have +/- 20% percentage who would be interested in what you have to offer.

Same reason goes as to why there are still Advertising companies, logistics & distributions and all other related to printed materials.

And that's the same logic as to why I still have my job :)

Cheers!

Oh, I personally don't have a problem with people who give out those flyers. I politely refuse once I see that what they're advertising is not relevant to me. But Mitch Hedberg's one-liners are awesome and it's like he has one for almost every situation imaginable.
