It's not Sheikh Ahmed, that owns Emirates. It's Shaikh Ahmad Bin Juma Al Maktoum, I think he is Sheikha Binti's uncle.

There would be too many trunks and not enough branches if you know what I mean. Consanguinity is important in royal families (including European royals) so you end up with quite a lot of people marrying their cousins.

Shaikh Ahmad Bin Jumaa Al Maktoum was born in 1936, and had several children.
His daughter Shaikha Rodha Bint Ahmad Bin Jumaa is married to Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
Shaikh Ahmad Bin Jumaa Al Maktoum was the uncle of Shaikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Jumaa Al Maktoum, the wife of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
