Are there any cultural clubs where different nationalities share their culture, food, etc. I am always fascinated about various cultures and certainly the food ..... and love to learn about them ... maybe some day I could be write a book on different cultures - where do they all melt.

Would not mind suggestions on the same.

Wrong forum to ask on. The only clubs you'll see mentioned here are Barasti, Double Decker, Cyclone, Chocoholic, etc.

Most cultural clubs here are divided by nationality, such as Indian Club, Iranian club, etc.

Hey you have not mentioned in which location are you finding the clubs?Yeah ,there are many cultural clubs here in Dubai and people have lot of fun on weekends.Go ahead and write a book, iam waiting for the book to be published,hope i can get a copy of that asap and see that i have my name included in your book.

People often describe Dubai as multicultural, but the cultures rarely mix. You have Indian, Lebanese, Filipino night clubs, bars full of mostly Brits - nationalities don't really melt.
However, there are many restaurants serving a variety of cuisines.

I was in ABu Dhabi and saw that nationalities mix more in the Capital than in Dubai. I could see multiple nationalities walking together, having lunch, etc. Maybe Abu Dhabi is the true melting pot.

Have a baby and join some mom groups - those are nice multicultural clubs.

Oh kaneli having a baby is such a drastic way to get out and meet people, and I'm not sure if worldguy would let you help him in that way :O

By the way, I didn't even know Cyclone had re-opened
