Good point! I guess more than brand name and advertising, Trump was also a stakeholder in the project!

I would think that such investors, would always prefer suing Trump rather then some government entity, where there would probably come up crops!

Your probably right, however, you may find that your only and cheapest way is to go after Nakheel

But that's the point, Trump doesn't advertise, the developer does. Trump sells his name like a corporate whore, the developer buys "brand Trump" to entice people to part with their money because Donald trump is involved.
If the Michael Schumacher Tower or whatever it is that he sold his name to goes tits up, do yo think that it's Michael that's left with a load of bricks, steel and unwanted bathroom suites, nope, because apart from the name it's really got nothing to do with him

The Trump Hotel and Towers on PJ is a joint venture between Nakheel and Trump! Which means when u pay ur deposits u r makin a direct payment to Trump!
U can also make payments at Trump offices worldwide! I dnt think Schumacher sets up offices to collect payments!

Michael Schumacher has one existing tower (MS Business Tower) in Business Bay and another one (MS World Champion Tower) on the anvil! Both towers never mention MS to be a joint partner, its only brand building!

Finally if Trump endorses a clinic for hair transplant and Ivanka for silicone, should patients of that clinic suffer from botched surgeries, I dnt think any1 would sue the Trumps! Cuz their involvement was only brand building and advertising, as Trump would have no medical obligations!
The same would apply for Michael Schumacher, with respect to Real Estate!

With respect to real estate while MS probably has very limited liabilities, Mr. Trump definitely has greater liabilities!
