my friends car was impounded last night,he just fount out this morning when he is abt to go to work. she called the police station to verify and they were saying that there was a violation wayback 2006 of hit & run. The thing is,the car was bought 2007. what do u think is the best way to do because she's afraid that she'll be held in jail for that violation she didnt commit. we wonder how come this thing suddenly shown up, she re-register the car 2008. pls. advise asap.
