What's wrong with my post, mods?

Dear Klutz,

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.

If you are living in a certain country or are posting in a forum dedicated to a city in that specific country, the laws of the government do apply.

You will be highly surprised to know, that Dubai is part of the United Arab Emirates and as such is an Islamic/Muslim country/city.

Thus, the law's of the land are "Gambling is illegal in the UAE and penalties if caught can be severe. All gambling related web sites are blocked"

There is freedom in this forum but not for klutzes and chronic gamblers to advertise 500 - 1000 dirhmas games to supplement an addiction or a new line of income

Dubai: Police raided a gambling den in Al Riffa, Dubai, and arrested 13 Asian expatriates.

Police received a tip-off and raided the gambling den run in an apartment in Riffa. On questioning, the suspects confessed to gambling. They have been referred to public prosecution.

According to the UAE law, gambling is illegal and banned in the country.

I'm not looking to play with 13 people or start what they call a "gambling den".

As I said on my orginal post, I'm just looking forward to make friends with people who are interested in playing the beautiful game of poker.

If your concern is the money and the trouble people might get in, then let me invite people who wants to play poker without money involve instead...

My Titties and Beer are cultural diverse and therefore completely acceptable on an english forum.

But unfortunately, there are some 'moral officers' overhere that live in Dubai and therefore are not able to open themselves anymore. We have to comply by their limitations... laughable but for me not worth to argue.

Nothing new to close up the window for freedom of speech and cultural awareness. Happens everywhere in the Middle East. Even North Korea

Thats true, Dubai World invested $2.7b (50% interest) in the City Center project in Las Vegas and now ownes 10% of MGM Mirage corporation. I guess its OK to invest, gamble and drink in Infidel Countries.
