this is some good news for chocoholic

Very difficult to bring American children to Dubai.It's a LONG way from the USA. Plenty of theme parks in California and Florida.
To develop Dubai as a FUN tourism market, visitors need to come from the Indian sub-continent and Arab countries.

Florida is closer than Dubai to the UK. Dubai's MAIN attraction is as :-
[1] Stop -off point between Europe and Hong Kong or Australia.
[2] Financial Centre , midway between Singapore /Tokyo and London.

When the MAIN school holiday is in the UK [ August] it is TOO HOT IN DUBAI FOR KIDS!!,

I agree with you, no American kids are coming to Dubai. I would never bring my kids here to go to a theme park. For Europeans, Euro Disney is the place to go and Tokyo has a DL for Asians. Way too hot, humid and gross to do to a theme park here in Dubai. I remember last year we went to the water park in UAQ and we all got sun burnt, it was extremely muggy and the whole family hated it.

That's because you're wimps who can't handle the heat! I love it!

But yes, I'm glad seaworld has been axed, no more captive animals - hurrah!

I have read somewhere that Dubai Land is going to be cancelled
