You see that's the problem right there! It's a nude! So what? It doesn't mean it has to be viewed in a s.e.xual way. Do you see Michael Angelo's 'David' as a s.e.xual piece? No you don't - it's art!

The naked human form doesn't have to be viewed in that manner. If you see all forms of nudity as something s.e.xual, then I'd have to say there's something wrong with you.

Talking of nudity being not really sexual, apparently you are female so you wouldn’t feel how men would . I was referring to the possibility that people may hypothetically get sexually tempted by all means.

And more importantly, that this forum represents a name that I respect and a country with its own values, literature , heritage , cultural and religious practices ( which obviously being underestimated by you guys ) and I really see a good future over the horizon for this forum, many people can benefit from it, I don’t want Etisalat to ban it for UAE users because I am sick of that as well. Do you know where I am coming from now ?

Art is art for real , but that photo really wasn’t an art come on, I know what art is , f you really wish I can send you lots of artistic hard works and pretty much appreciated photos and crafts . That photo was 90% photoshop work, I see no contemporary art but a naked woman body to add a value to it, if that woman wasn’t in a nudity situation, no one would bother.

You just don’t want to take chances by allowing it to remain there , if you open this door for people to upload photos as they fancy, Admis will spend their whole days deleting photos etc.

By the way, if you wish I could really give you some good links to site with artistic nude bodies of men and women, all you need to do is to ask .

And yes I am glad that at this age I could still be turned on by seeing those bodies because many folks don’t haha ..

What you're saying about the forum is fine, agreed.

But a disagree totally and utterly with your other comments. So as a woman I cannot appreciate the female form? Wrong!

It also depends on what you class as 'art' because believe me I have seen and even created artistic works with alot more on show than that.

You couldn't see the whole of her nudity, nothing was on show, plus the tattoos covered most of her skin anyway. That's no different to a completely nude girl having on nothing on than body paint, but you still can't see her 'nakedness'.

I see beyond the s.e.xual connotations of the image.

I am glad that you finally agreed, appreciation is something else(and I were you i would have right-clicked on it and saved it on my desk top i may as well save it as a wall paper ..

you should agree with me that a female by nature would see it from a different perspective that a male would.

What makes you think that some women wouldn't find that image attractive? Depends on your preference now doesn't it?

Of course not everyone will see beyond the s.e.xual connotations, but I put that down to a lack of mentality to do so. I studied art and media and photography etc etc, so I don't necessarily see the s.e.xual side first. The first thing I thought, was what an amazing image, nicely compositioned, good pose, tasteful and oh yeah hot chick!

I never saw the image, but have to agree with mesheditor. If a forum member or a few forum members think an image is too risque for Dubai Forums with lots of Muslim members, then then why not ask for the image to be removed. Many moons ago I had a squabble with some men (and one woman) when some of the female members didn't like a few of the members' avatars. Surprisingly, I didn't get much back-up from the more Islamic-minded people posting at the time. (Maybe they enjoyed the images too much ) This is why I will back mesheditor up. Some images of nudity are definitely beautiful, but that doesn't mean this forum is the place for them.

As for the question, I answered that I wouldn't open either door. No way I will risk getting mauled by a tiger, and anyway, after some years of marriage to that person of your dreams, you'll likely feel like you are being mauled by a tiger anyway
