Do people in dubai gamble on sport in the internet ?

Just like poker there are two aspects in it.
The lucky charmes factor and the skill factor. If you know what the risks are, you have some level of skill. IF you don't. Its simply luck or bad luck.

In other words said;
Stock market investments are based on skills or plain chance of luck. The latter is pure speculation/betting. But having your facts up to date, makes you more capable of managing your risks. Therefore its called investing.

It does happen from here. A mate of mine is a bookmaker in the UK and he receives vast sums in bets from the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Saudi via the internet every time there is a big race. They are not expat customers...
