Suzuki India has launched the world's fastest motorcycle, the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa in India today. The hyper sportsbike has been priced at Rs 12.5 lakh, ex-showroom all across the country.

what about the exportation tax in india? how much percentage?

How much roepies is Rs 12.5 lakh? I'm not familiar with Indian currency. Please show it to me in significant numbers.

If it truly is priced at AED 11000 then surely its a bargain.
Here in Holland, VAT inclusive, that bike is about 17000 euro's which is approx. AED 85000 !!

I better move over to Dubai quickly. Holland is getting insane.

its 1 aed = 13 rs (+/- approximately)
110,000 aed = 1,430,000 rs.

Search youtube for Hayabusa videos. It's an insane machine!

Wrong. 12.5 lakhs is more like Dhs 110,000. Which concurs with what my buddy told me, of an R6 costing Dhs 150,000 there.

Its a brand spanking new Royal Enfield 500cc Bullet Machismo!

Single cylinder retro lookee likee of the real one my Dad had back in the 1960's but with a fully modern spec. It actually has a disc brake on the front, electric start and suspension!

Unfortunately the accessories were not ready at the factory so its arrived with a single seat for now, so everyone who has bombarded me with requests to put on the Belstaff waxed jacket and split prism goggles and pop and bang their way down the SZR will have to wait for a bit!

I have ordered the T-shirt that says on the back: "If you can read this...the b-itch fell off!!"
