Its a dump area behind the MOE and cheap.

Actually, Arnie, barsha is a monster area from SZR to Al KHail then from Umm Suqueim to the 316 RD. Some palatial estates there, man. Don't be so quick to slag. (the buildings behind MOE are poop holes) There are a few snazzy joints farther away from MOE.

Well, a year ago it was buildings and sand and construction and more sand. Have they greened it up a bit back there or what?

At least is doesn't stink like International City, well not yet anyways.

Barsha is considered a dump, this is not just my personal opinion it is that of the general consensus.

I am sure there are a few nice places scattered about but that still doesn't make it a desireable place to live for the average expat, when compared to Ranches, Marina, Palm etc.
