AJAX is good, but too much of it? No, thank you. Irritating.
QUOTE (An excerpt)
Here's a piece of advice for those who prefer reading millions of bytes of Facebook musings to fine literature: Facebook said was still trying to decide how to handle the issue of archived "Soundboard" messages. (Right now, only the most recent 20 one-liners appear to be accessible at any given time.) Pride and Prejudice, however, remains available at your local bookseller or library.

It's very difficult to explain it without covering several pages of this board...but it's something like when you send an sms over new year and it doesn't go because of network overload, sometimes it's first come first serve...well the difference is, mobile tells you message unsent or network is busy. With AJAX that works behind the scene, the message is behind the scene as well when problems occur.
However, this is just one angle of the story. It might be possible that your problem doesn't have any relation with this at all.
By the process of elimination in my FB problem case, it is definite that my scenario is caused by this.
