Is there any reason why he got into so much debt with lawyers etc?
Would it not have been better to say "This is what happened" and stuck to his story without a lawyer?

It was never proven that he had "Sex" on the beach, only indecency and now he finds himself in debt without a job.

Simply, because he was only originally here on holiday. When he was arrested they took his passport away, so he couldn't leave the country, he couldn't work - no visa, no labour card, no company sponsorship. Lawyers to pay, expenses to pay.

Bassically all outgoings, and no money coming in. His business partner pretty much disowned him. So what to do.

And clearly the guy had no savings for emergencies.

Vince never wanted to appeal his original sentence, but Michelle and the lawyer went ahead and did it anyway, so of course he got charged for that.

Ah...Thanks for that. I didn't realise that he was on holiday.

Seems pretty harsh that you are not convicted as charged and you end up heavily out of pocket.
