The Suffering of Chocoholic in Dubai and the Suffering of Mayssa in Ghaza!

It’s odd... but whilst I was reading about Chocoholic’s bitching for not nor being able to go to her favourite New Year’s party in Dubai, the TV was on and I saw the story of a little Palestinian girl named Mayssa in Ghaza, whose rib cage was partially crushed by the latest Israeli bombardments. Mayssa did not receive fast and proper medical care, and died hours later in the arms of her father.

I felt sorry for both girls!

Both suffered????????????

Dubai Rose, did you check the news in Africa, because I'm sure that while you were typing this sad story of Mayssa, Nigerians were burning each other to death in churches and homes. More children became orphans as their parents died from AIDS, and even more children have gone to bed starving and may not even wake in the morning.

Hmm, gives you something to think about right?

Not really Kanelli....

Not that I don’t feel sorry for those who suffer, wherever they are in the world. I surely do.

However, I thought Chocoholic was acting a bit childish and inconsiderate when she got upset over something so stupid like not being able to go to openly party on New years's Eve in Dubai.

Did she expect us to feel sorry for her??

Why can’t we respect the wishes of the people of Dubai for not wanting to openly party whilst their Arab brethren in Palestine are, in the mean time, suffering and dying!

Countries all over the world cancel such events whenever a tragedy occurs that affects their people. America cancelled just about every public event, including sports events, right after the 9/11 tragedy!

There is no harm in being more respectful and sensitive to our hosts!!!
