I respect everybodys' opinion and belief, but I can't understand how Saddam, who killed hundereds of thousands of people is good to many Arabs, maybe all, but Bush who didn't kill one is bad!?
Can someone explain this please?

I not only disapprove his actions I'm for putting his ass in jail forever. How dare he insult our President? Keep in mind that I'm a Democrat and hate Bush and the whole Republican Party. In my opinion Bush is a criminal for all the illegal stuff he has done over the last 8 years. I'm all for prosecuting him in the States but he is the President of our country. No one could insult him like that let alone an Iraqi. The institutiuon of Presiudency is much much bigger than an individual.

Bush never put a gun to someones head and pulled the trigger but he did order the invasion of Iraq, which has in turn caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians. So you could argue that that he killed those people.

But anyway, I think the shoe guy is awesome. He's going to more famous than the Star Wars kid soon. And I think Bush is just lucky that this guy was only throwing shoes and not hand grenades.

I think he needs to work on his aim!

He should have faked the second one so Bush would duck then steadied and nail him on the way up.

But I suppose he did well to even get that second shot off, because he was being swamped by reporters and guards by that point.

I am arab and I hate Bush and all his actions... but I am happy that he didn't get a direct hit from the shoes... its not right and its not nice... he is a president... I hate my home country president but I will never like it someone throws shoes at him... its an insult to me and my country!

lol. no one said saddam is good. and where did u get the idea that bush didn't kill even one ?! direct deaths caused by bush is in multiples of 100000s. more indirectly, especially children without getting proper medication. the country is 100 times more in bad situation with no sight of re-development plan, by those who destroyed it.

show-thrower has show very normal behavior of protest on behalf of people of Iraq. whether he becomes famous or not is different matter.

lol, as Dubai Knight said, he should have worked on his aim if it was planned from his side.

I am not sure if the incident can be interpreted as an act against the office of the President of USA. So lets not now create sympathy for the state.


I think it was a direct attack at GWB the person.

This should not be seen as an act against the people of America either.

The individual himself has brought about misery across the world through his conscious and calculated acts.

The guy who threw the shoe could have done a better job though.

i would have paid a million dhs for those shoes check out the iraqi minister standing next to bushy. funny thing is he didnt even try to protect lil bush from the 1st shoe. hmmm sounds like the iraqi minister was hoping bush gets a smack on his head .

I hear the Turkish company that made the shoes he threw...have taken on 100 additional staff as they are swamped with orders from around the world for shoes exactly like it!
