Lonewolf.....

Yes, governments are known to be power-hungry, and are known to deploy every way of eavesdropping and even a totalitarian/oppressive order if given the chance. That is nothing new.

BUT....

That is like the arguement of the Green House effect and the damage done to Mother Earth.

We all agree that damage is being done. But some people contend that Earth will, and has always, healed itself faster than we can ever damage it. Other people believe that we're outdamaging Earth's ability to recuperate, and therefore the temperature is rising, hurricanes are hitting ..etc.

Similarly, governments are known to be almost entirely prone to corruption and gobbling up more power. But you're forgetting an essential element here. In most of the developed countries you mentioned, the people, the streets, are not completely out of the picture. The people usually keep the governments in check.

There seems to be a cycle of : A ghoulish state --> Revolution --> freedom and democracy --> Ideology takes over by using hate and fear --> Ghoulish state. Repeat cycle.

People have been speaking of secret organizations since history began. The FreeMasons , The Knight Templars (they did exist)...etc.

It's nothing new, just have faith in Mankind my friend ... we're prone to mistakes, but we're good in nature.

P.S: Here's 10 bucks, pump up the medication.
