1. 9 months
2. 2-5 years
3. They have changed my circumstances back home. I have a negative mortgage/equity on my home in the US. It sucks big time, can't sell it in this market.

1. 7 years permanently, but back and forth since 1988 before that.
2. 1 year!
3, As I don't have any money, its not affected me!

Don't know, I wish to stay longer but I might relocate.

1=1 year & aproximatly 5 months
2= for the moment i m still in love with dubai not thinking about somewhere else
3= not really i m still doing good

1. Nine months
2. Two year contract, but maybe more.
3. Not yet, although the company is in a hiring freeze and you know what the next step from 0 recruitment is.

1. Coming into Year 3 on Christmas Day - Joy. But long enough already to see how expensive Dubai is getting, rents, Salik, hidden costs, higher Municipality charges than Abu Dhabi etc......

2. Was meant to be 3 years but time flies. Maybe another 2-3 years - the tax free salary and petrol prices compared to UK are too much of a draw unfortunately at the moment. Perhaps just long enough to get a nest egg to go and live comfortably on top of an Alp.

3. Not changed my circumstances, but am truly done with Dubai. Have really started to dislike it.

5 Years - Get one phase of school out the way.
Cost of living here is still affordable, market back in UK sucks.

Judging by what the feel of things here are, on this site, listening to neighbours etc. We might move to another emirate, or perhaps another country with my work I can do this. But I want to give it some time yet.

Was there 2 yrs, planned to stay for 3, got a lucky work transfer out and was very happy to leave (except that I miss all my friends). Dubai is a great vacation spot, but living there is crap.

been here in dubai for the past 5 years and im planning to move other country in the next 3 years wherever it is as long they have an opportunity for me...

dubai is crashing down hope everything will be back on track again...

3 not yet but the mood in the office is tense. Im sick of this country anyway, it would be nice to go somewhere real.

I have got an offer in dubai as senior engineer marine .salary 10000 dirhams inclusive of HRA .is it worth grabbing the deal.ur advise on this will be appreciated.
