Hi guys,

Hubby comes over january to start work and looks like we will be located in the Al Nahda area, found it on Google maps no problem, wondered, as i have read in GN that there is a huge problem with construction, i am aware that in general there is construction almost everywhere in Dubai, just wondered if anyone lives in this area also i have found a couple of schools nearby, does anyone have any experience of these or any other local schools, i have checked their own websites, however, would prefer an unbiased opnion if there is such a thing

Dubai Repton School is in Al Nahda. Nearby is Academic City with Dubai English Speaking School (which has a good reputation). Areas with schools a bit further away are Mirdiff, Rashidiya, Dubai Festival City, Al Warqa but then you're starting to get into traffic problems. Here's a list of UAE schools you can sort through by curriculum, emirate etc
