Hi I am new to this forum, I received an offer from an IT Firm which is located in DOZ. My question is how is the working condition in this place ?, is it really far from the actual Dubai District, carama, bur ?

Where is the best/nearest place to stay when you are working in DOZ ?

Hope someone could help me with these questions ... I appreciate it with a kiss.

it is sad, nobody know this place. I wonder where this place is.

DOZ is quite far from the places you mentioned..,

It is near to Dubai Silicon Oasis and commutable distance from International City and Academic City...

And for shopping you can jump to Dubai outlet mall and if you want chinese products you can head to Dragon mart.

The surrounding area of DOZ is almost a desert.

you have to visit a lot of other places to know about dubai..

Its about 20 minutes drive if the traffic is light. If you are unlucky enough to catch the rush hour, it could take an hour or more.

The area is under heavy development at the moment so be prepared for a lot of construction traffic and few amenities (read that as sod all amenities!)

It safe for you as there is nothing there yet!

i work in DOZ for Mashreqbank. Moved there a couple of months ago. The place is not as far as many people think and its a very nice area to work in. most of the large banks and other organiztions are there now. Its developing and the best part is, its far from the hustle and bustle. once you get to know the place its comfortable.

For living, you have 2 options. Mirdif (expensive - 15 min drive) and International City (resoanble - 5 min drive) I live in Mirdif so its v convenient for me to move around.

i would be very happy to give you more details and help you find a place too since many people from my bank are moving there too.
