You and seller need to go to police traffic department and transfer ownership. Cost for you should be about 500 dhs but bring 1000 dhs just in case I'm wrong. Insured up to August 2009? Did you do that? If not, then double check, it may not be insured for you as new owner. More here ... Dubai car registration
