I'm living in Duabi since +8 years, and will move to Abu Dhabi, I'm feeling so sad for leaving my life here, is it nice there? and what to do since I have no friends in the capital?[/u]

AD is greener, less traffic but fewer things to do, only one nice mall (Marina Mall), but hey.. it's only an hour away from your old stomping grounds!

Housing in AD is getting more and more painful. Hope ur company will sort it out for u.

AD (the city) is smaller than Dubai (population and area-wise). You can virtually move from anywhere to anywhere in 20 min tops. The malls are fewer, the night spots are fewer (but there are nice clubs there) and what we may call the SZR experience is missing. In terms of traffic, high towers, ... etc

A good thing in AD is that most of the things u would need could be a walking distance away. And most of the places are suitable for people to walk through (when weather allows)..

i started to get used to life here in AD. i have few good friends. i still miss dubai life, but here its 100 times better concerning the crazy traffic in dubai.

accommodation is a real pain in the ***. its never easy to settle down. u can easly be kicked out of ur house and become a homeless, sleeping in the car (as i have to friends experiencing that). what can we do, dubai is closing now, and i dnt think i'll be going back there. thats so sad for me.
