Hi.

I have always been fascinated in hotels!

so i have made som hotels in sketchup.

what do you think if this one was build in Dubai?

and a stupid question. where can i get contact with people that build hotels and show ideas, i know thats not easy, but hey, you have to start somewhere

first you would have to find a hotel operator who is willing to build a hotel and has his hands on a piece of land.
second you would have to team up with an architect (if you are not one yourself) to make your design work.
most architects will not just take your design without putting their stamp on it. the same can be said of the operators who might have very different requirements in spaceplanning.

both groups can be found on either the internet or locally...

may i ask how many squaremetres you allow for your bedrooms in a 6* hotel?

5-6 star hotel .
there will be differens size on the room. smallest room about 100 Sq m, medium size 150-200 sq m and just a few whit size 400 + + Sq m

100sqm for the smallest room is completely unrealistic. for the majority of lettable rooms in a hotel most operators will look into splitting these into 3 rooms at least. otherwise it is a different concept and you are talking about holiday apartments.
these work completely different from hotels though...

i do work with hotels but not in dubai (yet) but in the uk...

have you got plan drawings for your scheme?

in this 100 sq m its a bedroom, small living room and the bathroom and same for the bigger rooms.
Not a hotel with just a bedroom and bathroom.

and no. dont have any scheme for this.

I have just made the style of this hotel.
Im not a expert but i have to start somewhere.

have you ever been in a 5* hotel?
it is bedroom and ensuite for the majority of rooms. it is economically not viable to offer 100sqm per guest with a living room. seperate rooms you'd usually offer for suites which are only a small percentage of all rooms.

don't get me wrong. i don't want to discourage you at all and you are right you have to start somewhere. but frankly spoken that would mean either study architecture or get together now with an architect to check your scheme and make it work in 2D as in 3D it has potential already...

Burj al arab standard room from 170 sq m. and the biggest more then 700 sq m.

Unfortunatly what you are asking is like, I bandaged my swollen leg after a football injury, how do I do heart surgery? To train as an architect takes 7 years in the UK (I don't know about elsewhere), including placements and even then you have to be both talented and lucky before you'll get to the stage of designing top hotels in Dubai. If you are still keen, I guess the best thing to do would be to start looking at university courses.

However I've used sketchup and downloaded your model and you are quite talented (more than me). Why not look for a career within a company that provides visualisations (they computer generated walk throughs you see before a building is actually built) for developers and architects? Some developers/architects do this inhouse while some outsource to a specialist company.

I have a friend based in the UK who does this for a lot of Dubai companies and is role is to take the wireframe technical models from the architect and render them to look lifelike plus add in stuff that makes them look more real eg sky, trees, cars, people. It's more complicated than you think, especially if the client requests "go anywhere" animations too. However people that do this come from a graphic design background so no technical knowledge is needed to get started.

My mate loves what he does and said the biggest buzz of his career was driving along SZR, seeing some huge billboard and thinking "I did that"
