I"ve got a few scratches on my windshield, caused mainly by a lousy wiper blade. Any suggestions on how to remove them ?

you can install some kind of HEAT INSULATED EXPLOSION PREVENTION FILM for your windshield.
it's very helpful~
and also you can choose different colors or replace it easily

General opinion is to replace the windshield. There will be some products and / or services being offered here in the UAE but let me tell you that the process of removing these scratches is by abrading.

After the abrasion process, minor scratches may have been removed but watch out for the waviness effect created by the abrading process. This will put you at risk during driving
