Greetings, Glad to see this forum in my quest to explore the oppurtunities. Guess I am asking the same question probably posted here with different phrases . I have been a IT consultant (Data base and Unix technologies) for 12 years now. I would appreciate valuable inputs of how to find a job in Dubai to start with let alone how to negotiate ..I mean how does the job hunt thing work? Does it work the same way like it does in the USA , search for a job on popular job sites like Dice.com, monster.com etc. .I would be more than glad to hear your experiences on breaking ice with the job hunt in Dubai.

your best bet is to work through one of the better recruiters

dubai is pretty insular-- most of the good jobs never get listed or advertised in my experience
