Hi there,
New to this forum but hope you can help.
Travelling to DXB in August and renting car. Would like to drive through Hatta into Oman but unsure about visa restrictions etc.
Do hope someione can help. All passengers (wife and daughter) hold UK passports.

You can get information from tripadvisor.com Oman or Dubai forums. You have to get car insurance for Oman.
Drive through Hatta. Get exit stamps from UAE border.At Omani border fill up the forms and pay I think 6 OMR for visa fee.
They will give visa on arrival for I think 60 days.

I am a Canadian passport holder. Went to Oman in a rental car last month. No problem.

I like too much Oman .. I have been with my family before 6 month, in the Shangrela complex and believe me it is magical
