Hello,

This is my first time here and I would like to ask you something about the residence visa.

I purchased an apartment and I'm going to get a residence visa in Dubai.

I've read around I'm going to get a blood test.

My question is:
How many days is going to take for all the process?

I mean, once paid, is it very difficult for the developer to prepare the demand for the visa?
I need to prepare for my moving there and just I want to plan how many days i need to stay there.

Is it required to live at least 6 months in the Emirate in order to keep the visa valid? What about if I'm a business traveller? I really worry i cannot be effectively present for half of the year in my apartment. (it's the nature of my work).

1. processing could be about 1-2 weeks
2. You lose residence visa if you are away from the UAE for more than 6 months. I don't know if there's a minimum time period you have to stay in the UAE.
