What do you think about Islamic mortgages compared to the conventional ones?

Are they really Islamic?

Because no one could explain to me the details regarding my islamic finance, and basically had NFI, I initially assumed that I was being ripped off by a bunch of amateurs.
I am still waiting for my next statement, when all will be revealed, but from my calculations, my islamic finance is not a rip-off. Although they are still a bunch of amateurs.
Personally, I think that it is a crock of shite, and anyone who tries to tell me that it is islamic because 'interest' has been relabelled as 'profit rate' is just kidding themselves.

To me it does not feel islamic just interest with another name.

what the difference?
