Does anyone know which "region" the UAE is in for DVD players?

For example, Singapore is in "Region 3."

Would a Region 3 DVD player work in the UAE?

Don't you just make your player region free or change region? Isn't a matter of just pressing a couple of buttons on the control? That is to play the DVD's but I think you are talking about what system it is like pal or NTSC or multisystem????? We bought a dvd player in Sing and it worked here and at home but I think it is multisystem....isn't nearly everything now multisystem?

If i'm not mistaken it is region 2 (Same as Europe)

For most players if you google up your model number you should find out the sequence of buttons to press, for many newer DVD players you'll need to download a file, burn a cd with the file and play that on your DVD.

systems here are PAL just like Sing so you are fine there.
