so i wake up, have a quick peer from my window, cops are downstairs fining everyone thats parked illegally (WOO HOO)

then a tow truck rocks up, mounts the first car on, a brand spanking new S500 with the plastic covers on its seat still..

you'd think the tow track's taking it and leaving now....... what comes next was the height of hillarity.

the tow truck then proceeded to manouver in a VERY tight space, to attempt to perpendicular park the car, in a car spot!!!!!!!! whilst the 3 proud policemen watch the rediculous proceduer taking place.

is this normal? is that what they do here? or is that a service that comes with the purchase of an S500 together with the authorities?

Checked with my driver.. My car is safe.. N he said we dont have that facility, but yes they offered a movable parking lot with my S500.

The plastic on the seats is second to my personal favourite.....the shipping sticker in the window showing model year/features.

Why is the plastic left on the seat? Is it to stop the SWASS odour from penetrating? Would not the plastic be an effective blocker against material penetration for the seat, yet enhance the SWASS odour of the person seated there?

Maybe it is this perpetuating cycle that is the answer to some people's stank problem! Do you think they have plastic on their furniture and beds as well?

My favorite are the small blue styrofoam protector blocks (from the factory) that they leave on the outside of the cars forever. This after paying "dealer prep" fees!

I thought those Styrofoam blocks are kept only for vehicles in Bur Dubai area as a special gift to help them put up with thier congested parking spaces.
