Dr.D Have you worked on Cognos? Have you heard of any good training centres in Dubai? Do you have the knowledge to give a short course on it?

In terms of BI tools and Cognos thats a yes. Sadly. But gonna get geared up soon..

my advice would be to download some books like beginning cognos etc. and get familiar with the interface and report building tools. I take it you won't be getting into predictive modelling just yet so you can gloss over that and focus on it's data aggregating, reporting and charting abilities.

It's hard to train someone without a workbench, and I don't have one handy.

Bur Dubai, that place near Burjuman at the end of the street. Forgot the name but it's got plenty of shops. Some can sell in bulk i believe.

Try the Al Ain Centre in Bur Dubai, off Mankhool Street.
