OK, so everyone loves chucking brickbats at Etisalat (me included!) however I just moved into a new villa and needed my trusty internet line connecting up...went into the Etisalat office at 7.30pm last night to sign up and the guys arrived at midday today, took 10 minutes to hook up the wireless router and voila...back online!

Thats excellent service!

I take back every insult I have thrown at them...as long as it continues to function!

Bum isn't a rude word, at least not in the UK.

Bum, backside and bottom are totally acceptable in general conversation.

If you are referring to someone as a bum that could be different....

Yes the meaning would be different if used in the context of using Bum to describe say a tramp or hobo etc.

Edited or edited would be considered a rude word yes, but not if used in conversation between friends.

and before you ask double Edited is definately very rude as you well know

i agree hack, i think DK had a dream that he had good service from Etisucksalot. In reality i think he has a rather smart pooch that is very IT literate.

Well I would like to start my first post here by saying, Etisalat sucks!!!

Yeah they do the right thing once in a blue moon but seriously, how can you support a Monopoly? They make more money per person than any other telecommunications company in the world. Being a heavy internet user (yes I'm a geek! ) I know how their connection is never stable. I have to keep calling them about problems I have and they only answer if you were on hold for more than 15 mins. I actually waited a whole hour on hold once...Good service my bum! You decided bum wasn't a rude word right?

Anyway, yeah Etisalat sucks, end of discussion!

I've usually found Etisalat tech support to be fine. Except when undersea cables get chopped and everyone's trying to call them.
