Is there a windsurf station in Dubai that has equipment for rent and lifeguard service?
any wild places people come with own equip to?

Looks like it is all about surfing, not WIND-surfing.
Is there a wind in the area at all? :)

please bear with us for some more time.. our main wind /air / water / rescue / Adventure man DK is a bit busy with his schedule.. but i'm confident he'd be able to help you out and would b able to answer u better than most of us here.. perhaps Queen lady Choco could also give u some information on this. but like I said.. spare a couple of days .

It means you really didn't surf enough to find some info from the site mentioned above...

Heres a note from one of the surfers:

good windsurfers find the winds here a bit mild. Many have taken up kitesurfing. But you'll get onshore winds almost every afternoon for a few hours - usually somewhere between 5-15 knots.

Surfing in April is a bit of a lottery (as it is most of the year) but it's starting to get in to summer then which means no or almost no waves.

You can hire windsurfers at many hotels along the beach. Buying windsurfer gear you could try Al Boom Marine in Rashidiya. Check out http://www.surfersofdubai.com for more equipment info and surfspots.


As you can see it takes a little wind to get some info mate.....
