Britain never shipped jews to Palestine. During WW II Britain even closed Palestine for jewish immigration.

Jews did not only come from Germany, but from all over Europe.

The Palestinian problem started with the crusades? Please tell me more!!!

The UN did. It created a jewish and Arab Palestinian state. After the 1948 war Palestine was sliced up between the jews, Egypt and Transjordan.

lol hahahha UN is the same as Britian and is the same as USA. UN means BULLOCKS to me. If UN really did its job there wouldnt be ppl like Osama, there wouldnt be war, there wouldnt be ppl in Africa suffering from Aids. Instead UN is just a puppet of USA, UK and the west. To do their dirty job they have to do it through UN. oh yeh Kofi Anan is a muslim but thats just it they appointed another Muslim to keep the muslims happy. lol go read ur history books and u will learn about the crusades and y it happened.

lol if i knew the answer to my own questions i wouldnt be asking u lol.

so y dont u enlighten me it would be nice to hear what u think y the jews who got their state and the palestinians didnt.

I would also like to ask u y UNs national self determination was not implied in palestine. is it because the majority of the population during the end of the world war 2 were arab and the League of Nations knew this would result in the palestinians having their own state.

Kofi anan may be a muslim but he is appointed just to show the world that UN cares about the muslim community when in fact UN is nothing but bullocks of USA and UK.

rudeboy - please read my resurrected thread on the UN debate on the formation of Israel.

Note it does say that 300,000 jews were given refuge in Palestine between the wars, and continued to do so when Britain, the US and Canada all closed their borders.

The warnings of the consequences of the injustice of the partition - the way it disadvantaged the Palestinians - was clearly prophetic. The tragedy is that the consequences were obvious given the facts, but the vote went in Israel's favour anyway.

The vote was scheduled for the day of the speech given, but it was postponed and overnight the US lobbied for votes in favour of the resolution - and the rest is history. It is said that if the vote was taken after this speech, it would have gone the other way. But that is beside the point now - what remains is the list of the injustices of the 1948 borders of Israel. In 1967 the land was expanded quite considerably - compounding the injustice.

Cheers,
Shafique

shaf i know what happened but dutchman didnt know about it so was explaining it to him. do remember that the jews have expanded their lands till date as to compared to 1947 when they had little land or territory. they also have the top jobs, top salaries and even have taken over land which originally used to belong to some palestinian.

I remember reading about the Berlin Wall separating east and west germany and how ppl in Europe werent happy about it. Theres a similar wall in Palestine but the sad fact is no1 in Europe or USA cares about that Wall instead they all support it. lol

And the same thing is happening in Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
Where a majority of the muslims are not getting National self determination which is the main objectives of UN. hell UN isnt even in Kashmir so plz dont talk about UN cos its nothing but piece of bullocks.

But the sad thing is UN does nothing it is just a way of USA to carry out its foreign policies. What I would really luv to see is a Muslim League or something with its own Army but I know that wont happen cos most of the muslim leaders are just like Kofi Anan ;).

Here are three:
-The zionists know how western propaganda works and how to influence it. Palestinians still donot.
-The world felt a lot of guilt and/or sympathy for the jews because of the holocaust.
-the Palestinians were abandoned by their Arab brothers.

Again, the Palestinians did get their state (not as big as they wanted though). Most of it got occupied by Egypt and Transjordan and after 1967 by Israel.

lol i agree with u i also agree that the Palestinians were abandoned by their Arab brothers especially Saudi. Who like all the other oil producing countries in the GCC could have put an oil embargo on USA but we all know that wont EVER happen. I do blame UN, USA, UK and even other muslim countries for not finding a solution to the Palestinian cause.
