DF has turned me into monster: I am calling people names and started acting like the people I despise *in a bad way*. I am afraid of the stuff I have picked up here, what will happen if apply it in real life?

You are what you make yourself, their is no need to call people names, if that is what you are doing then you have to learn to control yourself.

Uh, I only do that because I get attacked. I just can't stand getting trashed while someone bad mouths me. So why is it ok for other people to call names but not for me? No one is stopping them either.

It is all up to you actually, it's really never ok for people to call you names or for you to respond in kind, of course their are times when it is just impossible to control ones self, however much satisfaction can be gained from ignoring the name calling and concentrating on the subject.
