Maybe not me... but out little honeypot certainly caught quite a few bees.
I'm tempted to post some of the PMs except they keep getting funnier.
Back to the original post... chicken + blood is never a good mix. I'd freak out and send it back, refuse to pay and threaten to call the municipality.
I felt like puking.. still feeling it.. dint freak out.. just showed it to the bearer who was very apologetic and immediately took it back .. but that ended my lunch.. and yeah they dint charge for it.
But I thought steaks done rare would have blood in it.. wouldnt it?
Chicken is one of the 3 meats that spoil rapidly (the other being pork and fish) and is low in both sodium and iron content, hence the whiteness of the meat. By cooking it, but not thoroughly, you actually create a favourable environment for the rapid propogation of bacteria. Hence these meats should always be cooked properly (or in the case of Sashimi, eaten raw).
The iron richness in red blooded animals minimises the chance of these conditions to occur and hence is safer for consumption.
At least... that's what I've always thought.
Never eat undercooked chicken... you run the risk of food poisoning.
