The Australia Network TV Channel is broadcast free-to-air across Asia and India on Intelsat-8 @ 166deg East.

Does anyone know whether the signal is available in Dubai?

It can only be received on Intelsat-10, but this is for the troops in Iraq and Afgan and it is encoded so that no one else can watch.

Slightly off topic but nonetheless related....

What pay TV package should a good AFL loving Australian get here? AFL is the priority but would love to see the Australian Cricket (Domestic matches too) and some NRL games too. Not interested in Union or A-League.

Any advice on packages, etc???

Cricket: Some internationals on Fox.
NRL: None
