Wait how can that be They can't even figure out when the moon will appear for Ramadan or Eid in 2007 (21st Century) and they can figure out when Jesus was born and that was many moons ago...

Actually Choco, I would prefer people referred to it as Happy Holiday and the Festive Season now than attributing religious significance to an event that is nothing more than a glorified reason to have a shopping spree and buy Coca Cola.

Good lord...!! my world is so simple.. I can still wish my friends Happy Christmas, and Eid mubarak and accept Happy Diwali, Happy Holi and Happy Onam from all of my friends.

It gets warmer and the days stay longer from here - well at least they do in the uK.

Couple of Christmas facts;

All the jingle bells & presents did not start until the time of dickens when it became a cultural fad made famous at the time from 'christmas carol'.

Oliver Cromwell (Think English Taliban) banned Christmas - but was not successful in the end.

The Christians kind of hijacked the Original Solstice Celebrations as they could not stop people celebrating so they layered the nativity story over the top.
